To the Recommendation of the 17th CASPCOM Session

Rules for presenting and formatting the materials to be published in the "CASPCOM Research Papers".

The electronic "CASPCOM Research Papers" displayed at CASPCOM website accept for publication scientific communications covering the results of research focused on the Caspian Sea and its basin. Main scientific columns of the journal are as follows:
Meteorology and Climatology;
Hydrology and Oceanology;
Environmental monitoring.
The electronic "CASPCOM Research Papers" accept for publication both new and earlier published papers (in pdf format). The published materials are displayed in the section "CASPCOM Research Library", and new materials are displayed in the section "CASPCOM Research Journal".

The published materials are accepted for publication in "CASPCOM Research Library" no later than a year after their primary publication in unchanged form (scanned copies transformed into pdf format). The paper can be presented in any language. The name of the article, the list of authors and the abstract should be given in Russian and English and attached to the application as a separate Word file. The application is submitted in Russian or English (in pdf format) by the author (one of the authors), whose signature must be certified by head of the organization which the applicant represents, indicating contacts of his/her organization. The publication of materials in "CASPCOM Research Library" must be in compliance with author's rights set in the initial publication. The applicant is responsible for securing copyright.

The materials for the first publication are submitted to "CASPCOM Research Journal" on the basis of the resolution by the Academic Council of the organization where the research has been done. The copy of the resolution of the Academic Council is attached to the application printed under the official letterhead of the organization (indicating its details) and signed by its Manager). The application and the attachment are to be scanned and transformed to pdf format to be further sent by e-mail. The Journal accepts only Russian or English materials formatted in accordance with the following requirements.
The length of the newly published article including the abstract, illustrations and reference list should not exceed 10 A4 pages, 2 cm margins, Word document, Times New Roman font, font size 12, line spacing 1. Figures and tables are inserted in the text. The name of the article is followed by the list of authors (1 break line, authors' names presented in one line), including first and second names and e-mail address. Below (1 break line) indicate the research organization recommending the article for publishing, including telephone and fax number and location (town, country). It is followed by abstract, introduction, main part, conclusion and reference list. The main part of the article briefly describes materials, methods, research results and comments. After the new article is formatted in accordance with these requirements, it is transformed into pdf format and is sent to the following address with the application.

The materials to be published in "CASPCOM Research Library" and "CASPCOM Research Journal" are submitted to CASPAS Coordinator via e-mail: caspcom@mail.ru
